Music From Kirt Silver
“Every song starts with a feeling that won’t let go.”
Music has always been a part of my life.
Long before I ever thought about recording songs, I was picking up a guitar and writing lyrics. Trying to put emotions into words that I couldn’t always say out loud. Some songs came from personal experiences. Others came from watching the people around me and realizing that, no matter where we come from, we’re all trying to make sense of the same things.
I’m not interested in writing music that follows trends. I want to write songs that feel honest. The kind of songs that remind you of a moment in your own life, whether it’s being in love, getting knocked down, finding hope again, or simply driving down a back road with the windows down and the music turned up.
Every song begins with an idea, but it isn’t finished until it connects with someone else. That’s what keeps me writing. Knowing that somewhere, someone might hear a lyric and think, “That’s exactly how I felt.” Music helps us all workout our feelings as we listen. My hope is my songs will help someone do that.
My music is available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, and I’m always writing, recording, and looking ahead to what’s next. Every new song is another opportunity to tell a story, and I’m grateful to everyone who’s taken the time to listen.
If my music becomes part of your story, then it’s already accomplished more than I could have hoped for.
